InTerraHost is run by a number of former Investment Banking technology professionals. Our executive team consists of the following individuals:
Don Sottile, President & CEO
Prior to forming his web hosting firm InTerraHost, Inc. and his consulting firm SGSPartners Inc, Mr. Sottile was the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Pedestal, Inc. and was responsible for overseeing the evaluation and implementation of all technology required to support the companies development initiatives in the mortgage space. These initiatives involved initiatives included systems in the primary and secondary mortgage spaces.
Mr. Sottile previously worked at SunTrust Equitable Securities Corporation, the investment banking division of SunTrust Bank, Inc., where he was Chief Information Officer and was responsible for all trading floor and technology infrastructure, systems development, vendor relationships, budgeting, and enterprise technology strategy. He successfully implemented SunTrust Equitable Securities' electronic trading systems for debt, equity, and foreign exchange capital markets.
In addition to hiring, implementing and managing a rapid application development team for all of SunTrust Capital Markets, he also acquired extensive experience in building data warehouses, overseeing the implementation and integration of acquired technology and developing and implementing both Intranet and Internet trading systems within the SunTrust affiliate banking community. Prior to working for SunTrust, Mr. Sottile worked for Barclays de Zoete Wedd and Republic National Bank of New York.
He also served as an Armor officer in the United States Army. Mr. Sottile has a B.S. in computer science from Hofstra University with a minor in Engineering.
Rob Scrivo, Head of Network Engineering
Mr. Scrivo has been a senior level Network Engineer for most of the major Investment Banks in New York and headed the Network team for the New York Office Pedestal. He has also performed extensive contract work for institutions such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Sudhir Gole, Head of Systems Development
Mr. Gole was the Head of Systems Development at SunTrust Bank’s Investment banking Division as well as at Pedestal. He currently helps with the development of our ASP and .NET applications.
